The work in this company covers many departments and positions, from producing cardboard from scratch, through production, to painting or assembly. What will you do?
As a machine operator, you will work in the Corrugated Cardboard Machine (CCM) department. In this department, corrugated cardboard sheets of various types and qualities are produced from rolls of paper. The quality produced depends on customer demand. The corrugated cardboard sheets are ultimately processed by the Processing department, where they are printed and die-cut into finished products.
The CCM department operates in a 4- or 5-shift system. You and your team are responsible for the qualitative and quantitative production of the corrugated cardboard machine. As a machine operator, it is important to independently learn to operate part of the CCM according to applicable quantity and quality standards. Since you have the skills to operate all components of the machine, you will continuously encounter growth opportunities and new challenges in your work.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Preparing the installation and adjusting machine parts (glue supply, braking, glue roller gap, etc.) according to procedures.
- Monitoring the process.
- Performing standard measurements.
- Identifying malfunctions, quality deviations, and abnormal values, and correcting them within the set limits.
- Performing minor repairs and assisting with maintenance work.
- Recording (production) data on control lists/forms.
What are we looking for?
- MBO-level working and thinking skills, preferably a technical education (e.g., Operator A or B).
- Willingness to follow internal training.
- Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.You are motivated and show visible initiative.
- You are a quick learner and result-oriented.
- You can work well in a team.
- Experience with machine production is a plus.
- Experience with PC operations and programs in a production environment.
- Familiarity with corrugated cardboard products is a plus.
