AGF Machine Operator

AGF machine operator is a hands-on, technical role at the core of the fruit and vegetable production process. You’ll work in a modern facility where fresh produce is processed, sorted, and packed for distribution across Europe. Timing and quality are everything – your job is to keep the machines running smoothly and efficiently so that the production line never stops.

As an AGF machine operator, you’ll set up, operate, and monitor production machines. You’ll perform routine checks, detect malfunctions quickly, and carry out minor repairs when needed. Your technical insight helps keep everything on track – because when the machines stop, the whole process stalls.

You’ll work independently, but you’re never alone. You’ll be part of a structured and motivated team where everyone plays their part in keeping production flowing. The environment is temperature-controlled to maintain freshness, and you may rotate between different machines or tasks during your shift. Depending on the client, you’ll work in two or three shifts, so flexibility is important.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in responsibility, enjoys structure, and is always two steps ahead. You don’t need to be an engineer – just someone who’s technically minded, reliable, and ready to learn.

Your responsibilities

• Setting up and operating production machinery
• Monitoring machine performance during shifts
• Performing basic maintenance and repairs
• Conducting quality checks on processed products
• Reporting technical issues and supporting production flow
• Working in 2 or 3 shifts

What we ask

• Full-time availability and flexibility with shifts
• Technical aptitude and eye for detail
• Basic understanding of Dutch or English
• Machine operation experience is a plus
• Driving licence B is an advantage
• Physically fit and comfortable with routine tasks
