Transport
We believe it’s essential to arrive at work safely and on time every day. If you don’t have transportation, we are happy to help. We also arrange transport from home to work and back if needed.
We provide transportation in four ways:
- With our organized bus service
- Carpooling with a colleague
- Staying active with our electric bikes
- Driving one of our company cars yourself
Transport planning
Are you using our transport service by riding with the organized bus or with a colleague in a Solutions car? You can easily find your transport schedule in the Plan4Flex app. Log in and go to ‘My Schedule’ to see your pickup time and driver. To ensure you have seen your schedule, we will also send it to you by email every day you are scheduled to work.
Are you done with work earlier and want to go home? If you have a Coordinator, the office will automatically be informed about your finishing time. If you don’t have a Coordinator, you and your Solutions colleagues can contact our Transport department at +31 683 928 143. Let us know what time you finished work and where you worked that day, and we will arrange your pickup.
Costs
A transport fee (between €0 and €5 per day) may be charged for using our transportation services. The cost depends on the collective labor agreement (CAO) of your workplace. If you are scheduled to work at a company where transport costs apply, the fee will be deducted from your salary. However, most of our employers do not charge transport costs. In that case, using our transport service is completely free!
Earning money as a driver
We encourage everyone to become a driver at Solutions. As a driver, you have flexibility and never pay transport costs. Even better: you drive one of our Kia Picanto cars, and as a thank you for your effort, you receive a €6 daily allowance, provided if you have at least two passengers in your car. As a driver, you take colleagues to work every day. The Plan4Flex app shows you who you need to pick up and where to find them under “My Planning’.
Flexibility
As a driver, you can go home right after work without waiting. Plus, you’re allowed to make a stop on the way home for shopping. That’s a great bonus!
Refueling
Company cars must be refueled during designated refueling times. If your fuel is low or you want to refuel, you can visit the following gas stations at these times:
- Monday: 13:30 – 19:00 at the gas station behind the office | Jogchem van der Houtweg 8, De Lier
- Tuesday: 14:30 – 15:30 at the gas station behind the office | Jogchem van der Houtweg 8, De Lier
- Wednesday: 14:30 – 15:30 at the gas station behind the office | Jogchem van der Houtweg 8, De Lier
- Thursday: 13:45 – 14:15 at the gas station behind the office | Jogchem van der Houtweg 8, De Lier
- Thursday: 14:30 – 19:00 at the Easy Tank gas station | Schiedamsedijk 12, Vlaardingen
- Friday: 14:30 – 15:30 at the gas station behind the office | Jogchem van der Houtweg 8, De Lier
- Sunday: 18:00 – 18:30 at the Easy Tank gas station | Schiedamsedijk 12, Vlaardingen
If you work for Solutions Noord-Holland, you can collect a fuel card from the office and register and submit your fuel receipt.
Transportation at Solutions
Would you like to work, but don’t have transportation? We understand that work locations are sometimes difficult to reach and without transportation it’s a huge challenge.
